Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
This site, peterkolomiets.com, is run by Peter Kolomiets. For any question about your data, or to have it deleted, write to peter@kolomiets.group.
What I collect and why
When you ask for a guide, I use your email to send it to you, and to answer if you reply. I do this because you asked for it.
When you visit a page, I use these tools to see which pages people read and whether the site works well:
- Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights: page views and loading speed.
- Ahrefs Web Analytics: visitor counts.
- Microsoft Clarity: how people move through a page (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement).
These tools see technical details such as your browser, device, rough location and the pages you open. I use them to keep the site working and useful.
To stop abuse of the form, your IP address is held briefly to limit repeated requests.
What I do not do
I do not sell your data. The newsletter is a separate sign-up on Substack, under Substack's own privacy policy.
Who else handles it
- Vercel hosts the site. Its logs record requests, including your email address when you ask for a guide.
- Resend sends the email with your guide.
- Google runs my mailbox, where your replies arrive.
- Microsoft and Ahrefs run the analytics above.
Some of them are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. The Donate button takes you to the foundation's payment page. I never see your card details.
How long I keep it
Only as long as I need it for the reasons above. Ask me to delete it and I will.
Cookies
No advertising cookies. The analytics tools above may use their own. You can block them in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how I use it. Write to peter@kolomiets.group. If you are unhappy with my answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new date.
